At Glenelg Allied Health Clinic, we set our hourly fees in line with the most current NDIS Support Catalogue for NDIS participants which can be found here.

Speech Pathology – $193.99 per hour

Psychology – $244.22 per hour

Occupational Therapy – $193.99 per hour

Dietetics – $193.99 per hour

Podiatry- $193.99 per hour

Oral Placement Therapy – $193.99 per hour

Allied Health Assistance – $86.79 per hour

While a referral is not required to see any of our clinicians, it may enable you to claim rebates through Medicare.

Medicare offers several types of rebate and funding programs that may be available to you. Please discuss with your doctor whether any of the following may be applicable to you:

• Mental Health Care Plan: Applicable to Psychology. GP’s, Paediatricians and Psychiatrists can provide MHCPs, which entitle you to claim rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
• Chronic Disease Management Plan: Applicable to Speech Pathology and Psychology. A GP is sometimes able to provide a Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly known as an EPC Plan) to individuals who have been living with a chronic condition for more than 6 months. This plan entitles you to 5 rebates per calendar year. Please discuss eligibility for this plan with your GP.
• Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) Plan: Applicable to Speech Pathology and Psychology. The HCWA program provides funding to assist with the costs incurred in the early diagnosis and treatment of children with autism or any other pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). These services are not an annual entitlement—they are the total number of services available to each child. A child must be referred by either a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist for the following services:
  • Up to four diagnostic and/or assessment services (for a child under 13 years of age)
  • Up to 20 treatment services (for a child under 15 years, provided that a treatment and management plan is in place before their 13th birthday)

  Please discuss eligibility for this plan with your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.

Our speech pathology and psychology services are claimable through private health insurance.

We have HICCAPS facilities on site, meaning you can use your membership card to submit payments from your health fund, normally leaving you with only a gap to pay.

Please discuss your level of cover with your private health insurer. Below are the prices for private health clients:

30 minutes – $96.99

45 minutes – $145.49

60 minutes – $193.99

NDIS, medicare or private health may cover assessment fees. We recommend contacting your NDIS or private health provider to discuss payment options. Below are the prices for the assessments we offer:

Single ASD Assessment (one clinician) – $1,200 (child and adult)

Dual ASD Assessment (two clinicians) – $1,700 (child and adult)

Psycho-Educational Assessment – $1,600

Additional assessments in conjunction with an educational psychology assessment (specific learning impairment, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia) – $200 each

Adult ADHD Assessment – $1,500 for assessment and report

OCD Assessment (child and adult) – $1,000

Adaptive Functioning Assessment (child and adult) – $800

Social/Emotional Assessment (child and adult) – $1,000
